Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Jayenderprises ("Bunkr," "we," "us") and govern your use of the Bunkr iOS application. By downloading or using Bunkr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Bunkr is
Bunkr is a focus tool. It lets you block apps on your own device using Apple's Screen Time system and end blocking sessions by completing real-world missions verified by AI. Bunkr is a productivity aid — it is not a medical device, a therapy, or a treatment for any condition, and it makes no health claims.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bunkr, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian's consent). You are responsible for your device and for complying with these Terms.
Subscriptions
- Bunkr offers auto-renewing subscriptions: currently $29.99 per year (with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) and $5.99 per week. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, the subscription price is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Billing, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly; refund requests go to Apple.
- We may change subscription prices or features prospectively; changes will be shown before they apply to you.
How blocking and missions work — and their limits
- Blocking relies on Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework and requires the permission you grant in the app. Apple's system, iOS updates, device settings, or removing the app can affect or end blocking. Bunkr cannot guarantee that blocking is impossible to bypass, and you agree not to rely on it as an absolute control.
- Mission verification uses automated AI analysis of the photo you submit. AI can make mistakes in both directions — occasionally rejecting a genuine attempt or accepting an imperfect one. Verification decisions are final within the app session, and mission requirements may change over time.
- You agree to submit only photos you have the right to take and that depict the requested item or action. Do not submit photos of other people without their consent, or any unlawful content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, tamper with, or circumvent the app or its verification service; probe, overload, or disrupt our servers; use the service with modified clients or automated tools; or use Bunkr for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or refuse service to protect the app and its users, including blocking abusive requests.
Intellectual property
Bunkr, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Jayenderprises and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You keep all rights to the photos you take; you grant us the limited permission needed to transmit and analyze each photo solely to verify your mission, after which it is discarded as described in our Privacy Policy.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data Bunkr touches and what never leaves your device. It is part of these Terms.
Disclaimers
Bunkr is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-interruption. We do not warrant that blocking will be effective in every circumstance, that verification will always be accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to Bunkr is limited to the greater of US $50 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.
Apple
These Terms are between you and Jayenderprises, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Bunkr and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change, and meaningful changes will be noted in the app. We may modify or discontinue the service. You may stop using Bunkr at any time; deleting the app and cancelling your subscription in App Store settings ends the relationship.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and courts located in Massachusetts have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence mandatorily applies.
